Why AI?

Some of our content is generated by AI.

We are pretentious. We write like this is a professionally-run news website informing thousands of founders and VCs in Silicon Valley about the goings-on in, well, the Silicon Valley. The truth is this website sits at the intersection of personal and professional. This is a personal passion project of the Editor-in-Chief, Editor and Writer, that all happen to be the same person. And there’s only so much one person can do to populate a professional website, at a reasonable pace. We are trying AI, because, sadly and thankfully, nobody really relies on the content on this website for anything other than curiosity – if they know me and want to see what I am up to. So we feel ethically in the clear, for now, to just experiment with AI and clearly mark articles written by us (AKA me) vs AI.
